What we include

We only include terms whose facts can be verified against primary sources. We create entries for trademarked terms but do not place ad slots on those pages. We do not cover real people. We do not cover medical or gambling topics. We explain financial systems and terminology, but we never give investment advice or recommend specific financial products.

How facts are gathered and checked

Facts are drawn only from primary sources (original texts, official publications, dictionaries of record). Each entry lists its sources and the date of last verification. Anything we cannot verify is left out or marked as unconfirmed — never filled in by guesswork.

About the diagrams

Diagrams are built from the same primary sources as the text. They are free to use in videos, articles and streams — the embed code under each figure already contains a link to the page. If you save the image file itself, please add a link to the page where you use it. Use in advertising or products requires a paid license (contact us via the form).

Use of AI

We use AI for term detection, source checking, and the production of text and diagrams. Before publication, content is checked against primary sources; statements that cannot be verified are not published. If an error is reported, we go back to the primary sources and check.

About advertising

Ads are always labeled as ads. Advertising never affects the content of entries, the selection of terms, or the order of anything on this site. We do not accept ads that solicit investment, or ads for crypto-asset, gambling, or medical-claim products.

If you find an error, please tell us via the contact form at the end of any page. We will verify, correct, and reflect the correction date in the entry.
